Position Title: RSR NAM VP, Supplier Strategy

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The VP of Supplier Strategy will support the Senior Vice President of Professional Services specifically in leading the group responsible for NAM strategic supplier management. This will include both an internal Operating Company (OpCo) growth strategy,  and external supplier relationship management. These functions will include but are not limited to  monitoring, measurement and management of all suppliers nationwide.

 

Develop process, strategy, and skills to improve productivity and support of our supply chain management; foster strategic alliances, business partnerships, and relationships with key clients and suppliers.  

 

 POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:



  • Determining organizational objectives in partnership with the key business leaders and clients, creating company strategy, policy and programs utilizing our traditional and non-traditional supply chain
  • Fostering strategic Cross-OpCo and 3rd party staffing partnerships, business partnerships,  and relationships with key internal and external clients 
  • Developing thought leadership resources such as Standard Operating Procedures  and Supplier Strategy Guides, providing process and strategy leadership to improve  supplier engagement and support field in achieving client Service Level Agreements 
  • Ensuring supplier compliance as it relates to contractual requirements i.e. insurance  and diversity via audits and timely communication
  • Developing efficiencies within the team and providing additional support /  opportunities as needed with active, post implementation customers
  • Managing a team of supply chain professionals to ensure supplier effectiveness by responding to supplier inquiries and  partnering with contracts team to facilitate and negotiate contracts
  • Supporting strategic DE&I supplier initiatives to build strong network of strategic suppliers that promote RSR and client ideals
  • Provide thought leadership in the market for sales activities around supply chain for contingent and SOW categories.

 

EDUCATION:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required
  • Additional education strongly preferred




EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 12 to 15 years of experience in the staffing industry
  • MSP experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and ensure successful implementation
  • Supply Chain experience highly preferred
  • Contract development and negotiation skills required
