Position Title: RLS VP, Sales

External Description:

Randstad Life Sciences is growing and investing in a newly created VP of Sales role that will be responsible for driving business growth, market differentiation, and propelling value creation for our clients. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for the entire National Sales team. The VP of Sales will work closely with our Regional Directors, Area Directors and Leads to manage our Business Development Managers and create and execute Regional Sales Plans, Account strategies, and direct new Sales avenues. The VP of Sales will thrive, by rolling-up their sleeves, leading the Business Development team, and working closely with the company SVP to help RLS exceed Revenue expectations.

Position Summary

  • Build and develop a world-class sales organization by identifying, training, and implementing best practices that improve the team’s performance while maintaining culture and values.
  • Inspire & lead Business Development team to consistently improve desk and client level results
  • Build and develop a sales strategy for securing long-term, sustainable and profitable revenue growth through the retention and acquisition of new and existing clients
  • Continuous growth of major accounts, accelerate growth of newly named key accounts
  • Improvement of wallet share among emerging accounts
  • Drive “AND” improvement at client level (Currently 22% of clients purchase >1 service offering, 0% purchase 3 service offerings)
  • Support RLS Leadership in the strategic planning process of the business, to include market and industry potentials, product positioning as well as competitive positioning and direction
  • Apply consultative sales approach to customer base to identify and solve key hiring challenges via unique RLS workforce solutions
  • Work collaboratively with delivery team to ensure we are meeting client expectations
  • Expand partnerships with other Randstad lines of business to capture total talent spend within existing Randstad customers

Education

  • 4 year/ Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Master’s level work a plus

Work Experience

  • 10+ year’s minimum of staffing industry experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years Life Science staffing industry experience
  • Experience as a sales leader managing large sales teams across multiple offices
  • Previous experience selling Life Sciences staffing and Solutions
  • In depth knowledge of internal Randstad business practices
  • Proven ability to exceed big goals- willingness to establish the “how” to achieve double digit growth
