SUMMARY:

The SOW Contract Specialist Lead helps implement Randstad Sourceright (RSR) contracts administration service with our clients and manages the ongoing program delivery through the assigned contract specialist resources and supporting technology platforms.  This role will be a part of a team that provides an integrated approach to contracting technology implementations, automation, compliance, workflow management, document extraction and data management and analytics; helping our clients optimize all elements of the service contracting processes.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contracts Administration Implementation
    • Serve as the project implementation lead for RSR’s contracts administration service and supporting technology installations
    • Achieve and maintain subject matter expert proficiency with the contract lifecycle management (CLM) functionality of our supporting partner technology platform
    • Collect client business requirements on contract templates, compliance criteria, and business contributor / approval workflows
    • Liaise with CLM technology partner representatives to assist in the technology requirements gathering, configuration build, and acceptance / integration testing
    • Coordinate user acceptance testing with client stakeholders in conjunction with CLM technology partner representatives
    • Assemble client and internal RSR training materials in support of new or updated client service model delivery and updated technology utilizations
    • Deliver training to client and internal RSR staff using and supporting the new services and technology
    • Serve as primary processing contract specialist role until migration to supporting program team resource(s)
  • Contracts Administration Services Management
    • Responsible for RSR’s contracts administration service delivery to our engaged client portfolio
    • Hire and manage RSR team resources which support the review, drafting, terms negotiation, and client’s execution of our client’s third party services procurement contracts.
    • Establish and monitor performance metrics in regards to RSR contract specialist support delivery
    • Partner and develop working relationships with client’s program sponsors, procurement, and legal department personnel.
    • Promotes and ensures full use of CLM systems to ensure optimum, cost-effective, timely and quality services; escalates technical issues to client sponsor or VMS representatives as needed.
    • Ensures development and deployment of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to RSR contracts specialist teams, suppliers and client stakeholders.
    • Confirms client’s needed procedural changes and develops / deploys communication plans to impacted suppliers and client users in a timely manner.
    • Assess client’s and RSR Program Team service perception via surveys, site visits, and roundtable forums.
    • Collaborates with CLM technology partner and RSR Business Analysts to ensure program performance reporting is available to key client stakeholders and performs insightful analysis of operating data; to make recommendations or lead changes to program delivery model or technology.
    • Provides customer with regular updates best practices internally and externally as well as potential program enhancements.
    • Coordinates, communicates and leads the change management efforts related to the MSP, both within RSR and the client.
    • Provides assigned resources adequate oversight, training and leadership to ensure they reach potential.
    • Acts as the day-to-day escalation contact for program resources within the account.
    • Engages RSR resources (subject matter experts) and divisions in support of client objectives.
    • Supports the assigned RSR program leadership for the accounts assigned and works under the guidance of the SOW Procured Service Management Center of Excellence
    • Travel may be required. Works under minimal supervision.

 

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of contract drafting, auditing, or negotiation experience, preferably within the Information Technology and Services industry
  • Knowledge of service contracting agreements, provisions, and standard marketplace terms / clauses
  • Experience managing a functional contracts processing / procurement group highly preferred
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) contracting systems and Service Procurement (VMS) Systems highly preferred
