Position Title: Pricing Solutions Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will be responsible for pricing of staffing services through the use of current market research and various other pricing methods.  The Pricing Manager will also work with the Executive Team to develop strategic policies which keep the organization competitive in the current market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Guidance given: Assignments are received in objective oriented terms. Provides guidance to subordinate supervisors or high level staff specialists based on organizational goals and company policy. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization’s objectives and schedules
  • Policy involvement: Interpret & execute market research and pricing policies
  • Accomplishes results through subordinate supervisors or exempt specialist or analyst associates. Modifies the structure of organizational units or a centralized functional activity subject to senior middle management approval. Often responsible for managing a staff function of the company
  • Directs the work of Pricing Analysts and others in the department
  • Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational unit. Acts as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to help meet established schedules and resolve 
  • technical or operational problems.  Directly participates in establishing/administering centralized functional projects.  Submits and administers budget schedules and performance standards
  • Responsible for pricing of goods and services in order to stay competitive in the market
  • Maintain historical pricing data on the organization and its competitors
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 4 years of pricing or financial modeling experience

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
