Position Title: IT Product Owner

The IT Product Owner delivers powerful, mission-critical and best-in-class digital products with global scale. The successful candidate will be a highly-motivated professional with knowledge and experience in product development, business requirements gathering, integrations, APIs and scrum/agile development practices. (HR/Staffing Industry experience preferred)
They have a passion for product development throughout its lifecycle, from how it is designed, developed and implemented and its subsequent adoption in partnership with other product teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Managing the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
- Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Defining the vision for the team's product
- Creating a product road map based on this vision
- Overseeing all stages of product creation including design and development
- Developing user stories
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Liaising with the product team and end-users to deliver updates
- Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Skills and Qualifications
- Front-Office: Recruiting- CRM, Marketing Automation, Agile Tools (JIRA), Recruiting Platform/ ATS, Bullhorn (ATS), PeopleSoft (ATS)
- Support Applications: Ivanti, G-Suite, Google Cloud Technologies, Agile, preferred – Kubernetes, NodeJS, Angular 8 (or higher), HTML, Java, SQL, APIs, Firestore, BigQuery, ElasticSearch
- In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
- Working knowledge of product development architecture
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools
- Ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent knowledge of user-centered design principles
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work with large teams in a matrix environment
- Understanding of design quality standards
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Computer Science
- 3-5 years of experience
- HR/Staffing Industry Experience (Preferred)
