Position Title: RSR Director
External Description:
The Director, Technology Strategy - Screening and Assessments is responsible for owning this specific vertical within the GIST organization. They will have a subject matter expert level of knowledge in regard to both technologies and processes within the screening and assessments technologies, and will provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders. This individual will proactively drive innovation through ongoing evaluation and pilots, incremental improvements, and will maintain a knowledge base in relation to their vertical. Each vertical lead is responsible for empowering the knowledge of the respective vertical technologies through an effective toolkit. The Director, Technology Solutions will work closely with the Sales, Solution Design, Global Transformation Office, Operational Excellence, Implementation, Operations and Training organizations to ensure consistent alignment. They will also partner with those teams to ensure that ROI is captured from technologies within their vertical. Governance structures will be enabled through the vertical lead ensuring strategy across the organizations. The vertical lead positions as part of the GIST organization require fluidity and flexibility. The technologies as part of the vertical could change depending on the market and are dynamic.
responsibilities
Technology
- Lead the screening and assessment vertical by providing deep subject matter expertise on the technology and processes within that vertical, and aligning and collaborating with the other verticals
- Conduct proactive research on technology vendors and best practices within their vertical through demonstrations, conferences, industry blogs and publications, and networking with internal and external SMEs
- Lead the evaluation efforts of technologies for screening and assessment solutions inclusive of technologies and platforms at point solutions or embedded solutions
- Lead alignment with partners through effective partnerships
- Look to support the evolution of the screening and assessment solutions services provided by RSR in leading the technology workstream
- Identify partner opportunities to support the vared RSR solutions
- Develop internal case studies on workstream in conjunction with Randstad’s Global Transformation Office and Operational Excellence teams
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for current and future technologies, processes, and best practices for their specific vertical
- Develop and maintain a repository of recorded demonstrations, pricing, case studies, language support, integration capabilities, functionalities, and other documentation for both internal and external use
- Develop and maintain a functional requirements matrix for their specific technology vertical to be used in relation to technology evaluations
- Enable technology adoption through subject matter expertise on best practices
- Increase customer and/or operational satisfaction in regard to technologies within their specific vertical
- Understand regional technology and process nuances across the globe
- Maintain a non-attorney knowledge of legislation that impacts their specific vertical (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and work with legal, security and other internal stakeholders
- Perform regular competitive analysis to catalog the technologies our competitors are going to market within their specific vertical, and understand the strengths and weaknesses of competitor technologies; act as change agent educating workstreams within RSR of these dynamic changes/evolving technologies
Relationships
- Interface with other Technology Strategy vertical owners to create blended solutions in circumstances where stakeholder needs bridge multiple verticals
- Interface with Sales, Solution Design, Randstad’s Global Transformation Office, Operational Excellence, Implementation, Training, Delivery and Support teams to ensure socialization of technology
- As the key partner manager, interface and manage global governance with Technology Partners ensuring strategic alliances; evolve global governance model with partners
- Work closely with the sales and solution design organizations to ensure technologies and processes within their vertical are solutioned appropriately; act as SME in sales and client pursuits
- Maintain relationships / points of contact with current technology partners, as well as market leaders in their space
- Provide regular update communications to other stakeholders (both internal and external) on activities related to their vertical
- Work with internal and external stakeholders (in particular Operations, Operational Excellence, and the Global Transformation Office) to capture functionality gaps for partner technologies and solutions within their vertical
- Interface with Product Development resources at our partner technology vendors to understand their roadmaps, and advocate for functionality improvements
- Promote knowledge sharing and alignment between the Technology Strategy organization and the Randstad Innovation Fund and Digital Factory
Thought Leadership
- Provide thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders through webinars, speaking engagements, presentations, and written communications (whitepapers, sourciety updates, etc.)
- Generate a sense of enthusiasm and excitement for fast paced technology change in the organization
- Identify areas for evolution of RSR services empowered by technology providers within vertical
- Work with contingent solution partners to evolve roadmap ensuring alignment with RSR efforts
- Develop and promote digital fluency and technology adoption to provide mutual benefits to teams and clients (e.g., process improvement, data and insights)
- Champion new technology and innovation products for adoption and understanding
education
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Master’s degree preferred
experience
- Experience with a subset of HR and contingent technologies
- 5+ years strategic level experience with screening and assessment capabilities
- Operational experience and strategic knowledge in MSP and RPO processes
- 10+ years experience in governance and relationship management
- Strong analytical abilities
- Global experience understanding unique requirements within regions

- Presentation experience, particularly in a sales or thought leader capacity
- Travel (regional and global) is required
