Who you are in this role 

The RPO, Global Training Specialist enables the delivery of training, development, and operational onboarding, in support of outperformance in our recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) business globally. A gifted facilitator who leverages their expertise in operations, technology, recruitment, and talent advisory skills to determine the most effective and consumable means to train. Although global in scope, they ensure curriculum is localized, integrated, up-to-date and utilizes innovative delivery techniques and modalities to maximize skill acquisition, compliance, and knowledge retention - while constantly measuring and monitoring training effectiveness.

Specifically, this role will have impact by holding responsibility for

  • Partner with the Global Learning and Development Team and Regional Operational Leadership Teams to create and execute a local training strategy; including an operational onboarding program for new hires for a variety of roles within RPO operations and delivery 
  • Partner closely with the Technical Trainer and Global Infrastructure and Strategic Technologies (GIST) team to develop, deliver, and assess technology training for various systems
  • Develop and support the implementation of a training curriculum to increase the capability of our employees to exceed customer expectations and create added value
  • Partner with Operations Leadership Team and HR to identify training opportunities and develop appropriate training interventions 
  • Drive training program evolution, design, and implementation strategy
  • Problem-solving and root cause identification skills through data driven needs assessments 
  • Identify and understand the scale and magnitude of change impacts on the organization and support implementation and adoption
  • Partner with operations and legal stakeholders to support compliance of all mandated training 
  • Leverage our various learning platforms (LMS, internal intranet site “Connect”, google suite) for blended learning strategies to support adult learning preferences 
  • Effectively deliver training and be able to evaluate comprehension and application of subject material
  • Apply the 70-20-10 methodology to overall training program strategies 
  • Act as a learning SME and consultant to the business leaders 
  • Promote, measure, and report training outcomes of learning effectiveness 
  • Create powerful virtual and classroom learning experiences that develop skills which are immediately applicable in work
  • Work in close collaboration with a wide range of partners (i.e. regional learning teams, regional operation teams, implementations teams..etc) to provide an individualized learning experience for individual market needs 
  • Engage SMEs from across the global business to help support learning interventions and co-facilitate training sessions for niche skills 
  • Navigate our learning management system  - registering users, setting up modules and programs, course details, attaching digital assets, running reports, accessing transcripts, and key administrative duties

Your experience

  • Degree or certificate in education, learning and development, or adult learning theory is not required but seen as an asset 
  • Experience in consultation, curriculum design, delivery and facilitation strongly preferred
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change effort within RPO operations and delivery strongly preferred 
  • Excellent presentation, communication and spoken communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, manage several projects and initiatives at once, executing against a broad roadmap
  • Demonstrated ability to empathize and communicate with employees at all levels
  • Adaptability, ability to navigate and thrive amidst change and ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and visual communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex assignments with proven ability to assess priorities while delivering high-quality results
  • Develop dynamic and engaging learning content through the use of videos, slide decks, and reference materials  
  • Advanced PPT and Google Slides experience
  • Intermediate experience with the Google suite of products
  • RPO experience and/or process knowledge strongly preferred
