Spherion, a franchise of Randstad, is searching for a Social Media Manager! This is a REMOTE opportunity, now and in the future!

Responsible for creating and implementing national social media campaigns and initiatives for franchise development, job seekers and clients, and providing local market counsel and support to our franchisees. This role adapts purposeful content to each social media platform and target audience, conducts social listening and effective response skills, creates an effective social media push/pull strategy, develops and implements a hashtag strategy, and utilizes equality, diversity and inclusion as a guidepost in all our social media endeavors. This position has cross-functional collaboration with franchise development, candidate recruiting, client development, digital marketing and content marketing team members. There is also engagement and collaboration required with franchisees and their colleagues and the broader Spherion corporate team members. This position requires detailed knowledge of all key social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube. Knowledge of Nextdoor, Hootsuite, Post Beyond and Reputation.com is a plus.

 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop relevant content topics to reach our target audiences
  • Create, curate and manage all published content (images, video, written and audio/podcast)
  • Contribute to planning and management of the quarterly and yearly content calendars
  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and sales
  • Manage Parent-Child strategies for local social media efforts at scale, especially with Facebook
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions
  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts
  • Work with the Content Director to oversee the design and social media graphics for all profiles
  • Oversee our social media and online review funnel for building online reviews and reputation; monitor online reviews and respond to each in a timely manner
  • Develop social media KPIs, analyze key metrics and compile reports showing results
  • Analyze campaign performance and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations for revising social media campaigns to maximize performance
  • Conduct social media audits for national and local franchisee posts
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the company; report notable threats to appropriate management
  • Monitor effective benchmarks/best practices for measuring the impact of social media campaigns; analyze, review and report 
  • Develop and deliver presentations and other written and oral communication to inform, educate and propel the adoption of and investment in digital strategies locally by franchisee and nationally for the brand

Background/Experience

  • You naturally initiate action and don’t enjoy waiting around to be told what to do next
  • You have several years of hands-on experience managing social media campaigns and initiatives
  • You know the “ins” & “outs” of TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and YouTube
  • You’re able to see the big picture all the way down to the day-to-day details of executing campaigns
  • You demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in social media; please give links to profiles as examples
