As a Diversity & Inclusion Lead – Talent Advisor, you will accelerate the D&I execution of the overall diversity talent acquisition plan as part of the RSR outsourced team to ensure a pool of top, diverse talent for the organization. In addition, you will partner successfully with business leaders to build out a diversity strategy that results in a diverse talent pipeline.

The D&I lead will help focus on the different stakeholders and actions to take and generate the right momentum to build diverse talent pipelines. The D&I lead will work closely with the RSR Talent Acquisition delivery and leadership to ensure that the strategy is executed effectively and accelerate diversity outcomes

The successful candidate for this role enjoys and has experience:

Planning and mapping effective D&I recruitment plan

  • Quickly assessing and aligning with the client’s organizational D&I priorities
  • Defining and driving a robust short-mid-long term D&I recruitment plan that includes (but is not limited to) the appropriate diversity partner affiliations, events, schools, contacts, and programs that result in an increase in diverse candidates presented within a target demographic
  • Partnering closely with the talent advisors to provide instruction on diversity recruitment plan execution and assisting in the operationalization of the plan if and where necessary to ensure positive results
  • Tracking and monitoring the outcomes of the plan to ensure an ROI
  • Promptly re-pivoting the D&I recruitment plan as necessary when results don’t align as expected     

Effectively engaging with executive leadership teams

  • Partnering closely with the client’s executive leadership team to ensure that the D&I recruitment plan aligns appropriately with the business priorities
  • Reporting on relative outcomes specific to their lines of business
  • Ensuring that the key D&I priorities are launched appropriately and includes the buy-in of the stakeholders impacted by the overall plan
  • Influencing change to effectively drive equity for all diverse groups by courageously tackling mindset and systemic issues

Accelerating diversity outcomes

  • Supporting and partnering closely with the Talent Acquisition delivery team and client leadership team to obtain added feedback/insight as necessary address in the overall D&I recruitment plan
  • Ensure that all of the insights and feedback gathered is consistent with the overall D&I recruitment plan
  • Actively partner with the clients internal groups (.i.e., ERGs) to support the building out the D&I recruitment plan and robust execution of the talent advisor guidance
  • Provide L&D for the talent Acquisition team
  • Recommend innovative tools and best practices to effectively drive change

Providing solid diversity networks

  • Recommending next-level and innovative programs that result in an impact on diversity at target levels within the organization  
  • Ensuring that thought leadership guidance and diversity partner recommendations that support the identification of diverse talent are being shared often and frequently with the client and talent acquisition partners
  • Checking-in to gather feedback on the success or progress of the strategy on a consistent basis and adjusting the D&I recruitment plan based on these insights
  • Developing D&I recruitment plan communication to ensure appropriate alignment in methodology and approach

 You will effectively contribute as the:

D&I subject matter expert:  

  • Working as a passionate voice for D&I in the broader industry community
  • Engaging regularly with internal and external networks to share opportunities and disrupt as necessary.
  • Leading inclusively and providing feedback and suggestions to help leaders embrace the D&I recruitment plan. Providing leadership and support as needed

D&I strategist:

  • Shaping the D&I recruitment plan and ensuring consistency in execution and messaging
  • Ensuring excellence in strategic operationalization, balancing multiple priorities as required

D&I leader:

  • Extending consultative guidance and inclusive coaching (as needed)
  • Providing strategic feedback to business leaders when necessary
  • Connecting and partnering with key stakeholders at RSR and within the client organization to drive broader results

 Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of recruiting, with extensive experience recruiting diverse candidates or one year in a program manager position supporting diversity initiatives can offset a year of recruitment experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications required
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, interviewing, legal, relationship management, wage, and salary trends, and due diligence, and the ability to present recruiting concepts and reports to leadership
  • Previous experience in full lifecycle recruiting, working knowledge of state and federal employment law, and demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions preferred, and a consultative approach to recruitment and selection is a must.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or Organizational Development 
  • Active member of strategic D&I associations 
  • Six Sigma, PHR, SPHR, CDP
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan
  • Detail orientation with follow-through shown in previous jobs
  • Track record of proven results
  • Expert process/system knowledge
