JOB SUMMARY:
This position has active involvement in all facets of a temporary and/or permanent placement business. The associate in this position will participate in recruiting, interviewing, matching, coordinating send-outs and filling orders. They will also work with client development, new account and retention sales calls, obtaining job orders, maintaining a high fill ratio, penetrating client accounts and taking a positive proactive approach in partnering with various organizational departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client relationship as needed to develop sales
  • Maintain knowledge of all client hiring practices and staffing processes
  • Personal GP quota responsibility
  • Guidance given: Assignments are received in objective oriented terms. Receives guidance based on organizational goals and company policy. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization’s objectives and schedules
  • Policy involvement: Follows operating policies. Follows organizational policies
  • Accomplishes results through combined effort of team. Follows the structure of organizational units or a centralized functional activity
  • Responsible for completion of all projects assigned to team. Help meet established schedules or resolved technical or operational problems. Follows centralized functional projects
  • Maintain working knowledge of up-to-date sourcing and screening methodologies
  • Function as subject matter expert for specialized testing
  • Document and share what is learned from each hire including viability of candidates selected, why qualified candidates deselected, and implications for providing feedback to client and rest of team
  • Fully responsible and single point of contact for all assigned requisitions
  • Responsible for preparing appropriate slate and employing all available recruiting and sourcing strategy tools
  • Responsible for building a qualified candidate profile and preparing the most qualified candidate slate for assigned requisitions
  • Responsible for management of candidate pool for each requisition and leveraging all internal resources
  • Responsible for executing appropriate external sourcing strategy
  • Erroneous decisions or recommendations would possibly result in delays and modifications to project/operations; possibly cause expenditure of time, human resources, and funds
  • Act as process improvement consultant
  • Frequent contact with equivalent level inter-organizational managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements or contractual clarification. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives
  • Perform courtesy interviews for executive referrals and document the results as needed
  • Partner with Sales for upcoming job needs and any consulting or client issues

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline strongly preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years recruiting experience with strong staffing experience at a management or executive level desired. Human resources, corporate or client specific experience a plus.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan
  • Detail orientation with follow-through shown in previous jobs

  • Sales abilities along with market knowledge and/or product/technical expertise
  • Knowledge of commonly used recruiting concepts, practices and procedures for sourcing and screening in a recruiting and internal staffing environment
