External Description:

The primary objective of the Digital Talent Specialist is to identify potential talent and manage the first stages of our recruiting process. The Digital Talent Specialist will collaborate with the local branch staff, regional and central teams to execute talent initiatives. This is done by managing technology and other online platforms, including job boards, social media, front office systems, etc. to create attracting, screening and scheduling efficiencies making more placements, faster. The Digital Talent Specialist will engage potential talent online, over the phone and in person, to attract, influence, build and nurture talent pipelines to fill jobs now and in the future.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • sourcing talent: use various channels to identify potential talent for current and future hiring needs
    • attract active talent, contact passive talent and build talent pipelines
    • communicate with past applicants regarding new opportunities and solicit referrals
    • search talent databases, professional and social networks and resume sites to find potential talent
    • interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks
    • review, craft and distribute job ads optimized for online visibility and talent attraction for supported units
    • craft and send recruiting and referral emails and impressions
    • execute an effective employee referral program
    • coordinate talent email and online/social media campaigns with marketing
    • promote our employer brand online
    • support talent care and redeployment for supported branches
  • managing technology & digital platforms
    • monitor talent dashboards and specific jobs for sufficient talent activity and take actions to advance talent through scheduling to improve conversions daily
    • execute sourcing activities to increase top of the funnel activity
    • adjust pre screening questions to effectively screen more talent in or out, based on needs
    • monitor interview availability and adjust to meet demand
    • execute an effective local social marketing strategy; understanding what appeals to the target audience, what matters to them, how they engage online and what drives their work performance
    • track and document social activities outside of social sharing platform
    • manage local facebook pages
    • use video to engage with talent
    • share content and jobs on social media
    • build online networks and participate in groups
    • manage applicants, pre-screening and scheduling occurring via social media; link to internal systems to create efficiency
    • monitor daily recruitment activities, using chat effectiveness, talent dashboards, etc. to provide data-driven advice on adjustments needed to steer results quickly
    • measure conversion rates, including number of applicants, chat opportunities, passed prescreens and scheduled interviews.

Education
