Position Title: RIS Area Vice President

If you are a proven Operations and Sales Executive who can execute a complex sales process and successfully manage your P&L while promoting the RandstadUS culture  than you could be our next Regional Vice President (Sales & Operations Management) in our Randstad In-House services division (RIS).  RIS specializes in the provision of high-volume, skilled flexible labor; aimed at improving labor flexibility, retention, productivity and efficiency. The concept provides a complete HR process from recruitment and selection, introduction, planning and management of workers through to the provision of detailed management reports. 

 

The RVP is responsible for providing leadership and general management to their Regional sales and operations teams in order to successfully drive the Region's annual sales goals, operating plan, human resources objectives and operational efficiencies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build, maintain and grow strategic partnership with current and perspective clients through a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and account performance 
  • Develop and effectively communicate quarterly sales strategy and tactical operations plans to drive profitable growth and retention of current book of business
  • Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to gain NEW large accounts within the Randstad In-House services Model.  "Hunt" & close new accounts!
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a wide & deep sales pipeline including database creation.
  • Develop relationships with both the decision maker as well as the end user of our service (C-Level executives to Field Operators).
  • Lead and develop account teams to optimize service delivery to clients and produce measurable and cost-effective results that align directly with client's business drivers.
  • Track, analyze and communicate overall progress of sales efforts against activity targets - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually to achieve financial objectives of assigned contracts and areas, including operational improvements, expense management, account growth, and revenue and contribution attainment.

 

Experience/Skills Needed: 

  • 10 years of business experience with a minimum of 5 years in staffing required 
  • 8+ years of proven sales experience, including 2+ years of selling in a longer sales cycle (8-12 months)
  • 5+ years prior management experience is required
  • Prior experience must exhibit a track record of achieving profitable sales growth and managing the dynamics of change in a fast-paced organization is required. High degree of integrity and ability to develop customer/prospect relationships required.
  • Must have experience managing a P&L of $20+ million with multiple direct reports (managing remote teams a plus).
  • Must have experience in developing a geographic strategy, increasing sales revenues, and cultivating strong relationships with current and perspective clients, employees, vendors and the business community.
  • Lead and develop account teams to optimize service delivery to clients and produce measurable and cost-effective results that align directly with client's business drivers
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer's needs & to deliver, decline, or adjust expectations. 
  • Key Personality traits to include passion for results, resilience, self-confidence, and the desire to do an excellent job!
  • Ability to successfully manage relationships utilizing Emotionally Intelligent behaviors, styles and techniques.
  • Impeccable integrity; demonstrated excellent organization, planning, leadership and communication skills.
