Randstad US (RUS) seeks a strategic thought leader with a results-driven orientation for the role of VP, Brand Marketing.  The VP, Brand Marketing will lead the identification of the highest leverage strategies and the corresponding plans and best-in-class execution of the national marketing programs for the divisions to grow Randstad General Staffing (RGS) profitable revenue across the U.S.  The successful candidate for this role will be able to synthesize data from multiple sources and develop key priorities to drive impact.  These strategies and plans have to take into account the dynamic relationship between talent attraction and nurturing as well as client sales efforts. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  •   Develop and execute national promotional programs designed to meet key objectives for the Randstad General Staffing business lines. Campaigns will include a mix of digital and traditional marketing to increase brand awareness and achieve key B2C and B2B marketing metrics. Responsibilities include:
  •   Marketing-Driven Growth Agenda:  development of overall marketing strategy and management of creative and content development, roll-out, execution and reporting.  The alignment with broader Randstad USA marketing efforts is critical to driving value and efficiency as well.
  • Customer Experience: related to top RUS CX levers in order to drive the RGS field via SBO to deliver the most impactful initiatives to drive customer and talent satisfaction
  •   Business Impact: Proactively develops relevant B2C and B2B marketing initiatives and campaigns to drive business results based on understanding business objectives for today and the future: driving brand awareness, preference, traffic to website for both clients and talent that will be engaged and become Marketing Qualified Leads and ultimately for sales to convert into revenue.
  •   Trend/Competitor analysis: Monitor market trends, research B2C and B2B buyer preferences/needs and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
  •   Work with marketing leadership to plan innovative marketing activities to drive results in line with business objectives and operations including new product to address client and talent opportunities.
  •   Partnering with Marketing SMEs, develop sales-enablement tools for field-based marketing and sales activities.
  •   Create B2C and B2B marketing campaigns to drive results within specific business sectors and geographies.
  •   Monitor and measure results: Actively monitoring ROI and reporting on marketing activities holistically and specific to programs/campaigns as well.
  •   Responsible for effective communication of program progress to business management and marketing team to ensure effective execution.
  •   Serve as an inspirational leader providing guidance and mentorship as needed to help others succeed in their positions and deliver impactful marketing efforts for today and the future.

Education

Min/Preferred 

  •   4 Year / Bachelors Degree (Preferably marketing-related)

Work Experience

  •   10 minimum years of experience  
  •   Traditional and digital marketing experience required.  HR/Staffing industry experience required.
