Position Title: RPO MSP Business Dev VP

External Description:

The Director, Business Development will assume the day-to-day responsibility of driving business development within new targets for Randstad Sourceright (RSR) solution offerings of MSP and RPO.

This individual will be a subject matter expert in all aspects of RSR and will lead by example; generate new business and/or assume selling responsibilities for specific client accounts while striving to develop strategy, process and the corresponding skills necessary to improve productivity.  Additional responsibilities will include interacting with sales team, managing the delivery of products/services, implementing business plans, and building and growing relationships and alliances with key clients.

Leadership & Strategy

  • Build, maintain and cultivate strategic partnerships with clients through a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and ensure adherence to contractual obligations and account performance 
  • Leverage Challenger sales methodology consistently with targeted clients
  • Identify areas for innovation, improvement and proactively implement solutions to deliver value and improve client experience
  • Continuously gather market intelligence to craft sales strategies and solutions
  • Champion new technology and innovation products for adoption and understanding
  • Promote a culture of inspiration that reflects the organization’s values, encourages superior performance, and rewards productivity via team engagement
  • Provide feedback on best practice documentation and communication protocol for new accounts

Management

  • Ensure individual goals are aligned with organizational strategy and goals 
  • Engage SMEs to create and deliver training that optimizes results
  • Collaborate on strategy to ensure continuous improvement in the sales process

Driving Execution

  • Focus on assessing and improving performance
  • Assess calculated risks strategically and present business case to leadership
  • Leverage and enhance relationships strategically so as to position RSR as a multi-dimensional solution with resources to meet a multitude of needs 
  • Facilitate successful and prompt resolution to all customer, team and field issues

Impact

  • Ensure successful sales and across assigned target and client accounts
  • Assist in the development and continuous improvement of best practices, processes, methodologies, and collateral materials
  • Erroneous decision or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to major objectives of the organization and would seriously affect the financial, associate or public relations posture of the company

Liaison

  • Support organizational efforts by ensuring adherence to best practices 
  • Collaborate with Solution Design, Client Delivery teams and service line SME’s as well as client managers to anticipate needs and proper allocation of resources
  • Conduct briefings and technical meetings for sales support staff.  Interact across business lines with peers on as needed basis

Financial Performance Accountability

  • Strive to maximize opportunities and revenue available within assigned portfolio of client accounts
  • Manage expenses responsibly within agreed parameters

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of related experience (staffing experience preferred)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Proven consultative approach to sales and service delivery
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Successful history of generating new business and revenue within large client accounts
  • Proven experience managing large, complex accounts or pursuits
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and facilitate the resolution of complex client situations in an effective manner 
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-pace environment 
  • Demonstrated history presenting commercial insight or workforce strategies 
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Unsurpassed level of professionalism and ability to communicate at all levels of the client organization 
  • Strong communication, analytical, time management, CRM and problem solving abilities 
  • Proficient with the Google environment including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Salesforce.com, Linkedin and relevant business intelligence tools
  • Intellectual curiosity and interest in evolving technology
