Randstad Manufacturing & Logistics has an immediate opportunity in Jackson, TN for a Market Manager. The primary objective of the Market Manager is driving profitable growth of the branch through local sales that continuously increase Randstad’s market share. The successful Market Manager will lead a team of staffing professionals in sales, recruitment, order management, and excellent customer service. Market Managers are sales and management professionals responsible for:

  • Personal sales: Personal sales that generates new staffing clients for the branch
  • Profitable growth: Growing revenue, gross margin, and profit of the branch business
  • Sales leadership: Coaching a team of staffing professionals in business development and excellent customer service
  • People and team management: Managing and directing team members
  • People development: Developing individual performers
  • Client focus: Supporting client operations by providing top quality service and talent management

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of sales leadership experience, managing a small sales team required.
  • Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of staffing industry sales leadership experience
  • Strong personal and proven sales ability, including b2b sales prospecting, b2b lead generation, objection management and closing skills required
  • Compliance and operationally strong 
  • Must have the ability to be flexible and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Team-building skills

Primary Responsibilities, Tasks and Duties

  • Maintain position of sales leader (personal production) in the branch
  • Responsible for managing all aspects of branch, driving branch productivity and profitability
  • Oversee the direct staff, ensuring that they are appropriately equipped with the knowledge, training and tools to effectively execute their jobs
  • Make decisions regarding hiring, placement, and discipline of branch members
  • Develop and effectively communicate quarterly sales strategy and tactical operations plans to drive profitable growth and retention of current book of business
  • Track, analyze and communicate overall progress of sales efforts against activity targets - weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Maintain and grow client relationships, regularly meeting and interacting with clients to understand their needs and proactively address potential issues
  • Implement innovative strategies to drive peak performance at all times, and sustain high client satisfaction levels
  • Support client operations by providing top quality service and talent management through branch team
