The RSPS Account Director provides dedicated support to assigned client accounts ensuring customer satisfaction and continued development of strategic initiatives.    The individual in this role is responsible for managing all aspects of client service delivery for assigned strategic accounts.  The RSPS Account Director’s primary strategic focus is to lead clients throughout the full program maturity cycle, creating a roadmap that supports customer objectives in workforce management and payroll solutions. This is a revenue-generating position.  The RSPS Account Director drives revenue growth within targeted accounts and serves as a lead collaborator across Randstad OPCO’s and internal functional groups to ensure communication and strategy with each customer is consistent throughout the organization. 

This role may mentor/lead/manage account managers and/or account specialists; acts as a consultant in the implementation and transition of products/services to achieve agreed end result; hold overall accountability of account teams’ success; manage goals and objectives and develop and maintain executive level relationships with internal Randstad stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

Client Responsibilities:

  • Engages in the full life cycle of client relationship management: Acquire, Develop, Retain, and Advocate
  • Seeks out and proactively develops key client contacts, building relationships deep and wide throughout the customer’s organization.
  • Develops a working knowledge of the client’s business and provides customer expertise for others in the organization
  • Drives wallet share within assigned portfolio of accounts by actively conducting discovery and solution sessions that align to RSR capabilities and business lines.
  • Creates and delivers presentations both internally and face to face or virtually with customers. May be a presenter along with sales pursuit teams at prospect clients.
  • Serves as subject matter expert in the areas of payroll compliance and best practices in effective contingent workforce management. As needed, may be required to develop specific industry vertical knowledge / expertise such as in Cosmetics, Financial / Insurance, Consumer Goods/Services.

 GP/Revenue Responsibility:

  • Personal GP quota responsibility
  • Achieve targets that will include revenue and GP growth, sales activity and client/prospect contact expansion goals

Supervisory/Relationship:

  • Accomplish results through subordinate supervisors or exempt specialist associates. Modify the structure of organizational units or a centralized functional activity subject to senior middle management approval.  Often responsible for managing a staff function of the company
  • Manage and perform hiring and employee crossover activities

  • Establish cadence & conduct regular program governance meetings
  • Weekly / Monthly client calls aligned level to level in organization
  • Talent Advisory Meetings (qtrly or semi-annual)
  • Client Life Cycle / Relationship Management
  • Client issue resolution- 2nd level
  • Root cause analysis & recovery plan on escalated issues
  • Prepare client -facing action plans
  • Client SAT / NPS survey participation rate & scores
  • Weekly / monthly client-facing program management meetings
  • Supplier & WFM Technology relationship management (where applicable)
  • Account SWOT Analyses (updated qtrly / annually); Communicate SWOT & Acct Plan to RSR team stakeholders
  • KPI & SLA Performance Monitoring
  • Devise & employ strategies to meet / exceed KPI & SLA measures
  • Identify lagging indicators to address weaknesses
  • Identify areas where RSR best practices can be leveraged as strengths


Financial & Contractual

  • GP% and Revenue growth responsibility
  • Audit GM%'s / Implement actions to improve profitability of account
  • Account Health Checks & monitoring for contract terms compliance
  • Escalation point for Randstad A/R
  • Handle negotiation of existing staffing agreements, contracts and/or addendums at existing accounts

Advocacy

  • Serves as primary “voice of the customer” to account support team and internal Randstad functional groups
  • Secures client testimonials / references / case studies

Job Requirements

  • Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external)
  • A proven track record of success at the executive and corporation officer level
  • Effective negotiation skills, particularly with contract renewals
  • Demonstrated skill in strategic positioning to achieve win-win outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to de-escalate tenuous situations with clients and cultivate effective teamwork
  • Ability to effectively lead and develop account teams

 Education

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required

 Experience

  • 5+ years staffing client delivery & account management experience
  • 3 or more years demonstrated track record in account sales development & program expansion; preferably program expansion via multi-point solutions
