The University Recruiting team at Cisco is responsible for over 3,500 global hires a year into 12 different functions across the business, from: Sales, Customer Experience and Engineering, through to IT, Ops, Marketing, HR and others. We not only identify the best Intern, New Grad, MBA and PhD hires for Cisco, but we also advise on positioning our employer brand, market leading diversity and STEM initiatives, Assessment Centers, orientations and onboarding and workforce planning.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a high touch candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by creating relationships, communicating timelines, setting expectations, verbally extending and negotiating offers
- Attend weekly meetings with functional Stakeholders, and Campus Relations team to execute the recruitment strategy for req fulfillment
- End to end pipeline management of candidates
- Ability to build out a comprehensive recruitment strategy in order to meet the businesses needs
- Collaborate with Lead Recruiter to ensure accuracy of data collection and support the reporting needs of business
- Oversee and manage a high volume candidate pipeline for aligned roles
- Delegate administrative task to coordination team including: bulk requisition creation, send communications, update candidate status within ATS, interview scheduling, offer letter and approval generation
- Screen candidates for interest, availability, and skill requirements
- Assist with managing internal referrals
- Invite candidates to 1st through final round interviews
- Source candidates within ATS (Avature)
- Source candidates from various external sources (LinkedIn, Handshake, etc)
Experience/Skills required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Competency-based interviewing, especially in university recruitment
- Experience in using an ATS system
- Excellent stakeholder/relationship management skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate and proactively drive strategy
- Project management and planning skills
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize, take initiative and solve problems
- Detail oriented, possess exceptional organizational and follow through skills, have the ability to multi-task, and manage the demands of simultaneous processes while still operating with a sense of urgency and thoroughness
- Proven ability to work in fast paced/dynamic environment and be team oriented
- Recruitment program reporting experience is helpful
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Previous experience in high volume or University recruitment role within a high tech environment (preferred)
- 2 plus years of experience
