The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for managing the understanding of the external market and the impact to our business, with that the development and implementation of reporting and analytics that support the field in growing above market. The position will focus external trends, market conditions and how that impacts the business. What adjustments need to be made, what gaps are occurring.
This position is responsible gathering, analyzing, and presenting internal and external data to support Randstad business growth. This position will analyze information in order to drive behavior and identify models and management of success and opportunities. Ensuring informed decisions by all business leaders Provides analytical support; specific operations/support role; project driven; exhibits some technical skills; provides some leadership and development of others
The successful candidate will be career minded, highly motivated, & customer service oriented. Under general direction, must be able to perform cost benefit analysis, quantify the impacts of various company initiatives and support projects in identifying gaps for Operations team to coach and improve adoption and use of Sales and Recruiting tools. The right candidate will not only be able to “solve the problem”, but then be able to summarize and articulate the results to their manager and upper management This position requires a Bachelor's degree and two to four years of experience. Position reports to SVP of Sales and Business Operations.
- Support of Sales and Recruiting Tools Effectiveness
- Analyze the adoption and sales/recruiting tools and review ratios for improvement
- Cost benefit analysis of tools
- Utilize analysis to recommend tools and process changes
- Financial and operational reporting
- Various ad-hoc operational analytics
- Core Competencies
- Good written and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Good analytic and problem solving skills
- Good time management skills
- Proficient using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
- Advanced Excel skills
- Hyperion, Tableau and Pentaho is a plus
- Prior analytical experience
- Undergraduate degree, preferred quantitative field
- MBA or Financial certifications a plus
- 5-7 years in staffing or financial industries
- operational analysis or data analysis
