Position Title: Interactive Content Manager

Our company is growing, and we are in need of an experienced and ambitious Content Marketing Manager that can build and execute a content strategy that’s aligned with prospect and customer needs. Responsibilities will include: build a content strategy, own personas and journeys, determine targeted content needs by audience, draft content, manage the creation and design of the appropriate content, proof and share all content that will support the content strategy. Research and write 25-30% of content and manage production of balance via freelancers (both copywriters and designers). Scope to include all content such as: thought leadership, whitepapers, case studies, social posts, digital copy, campaign messaging, SEO, etc. Our culture is fast-paced, ambitious and purposeful, and we are looking for a responsive and nimble thinker that can collaborate and roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Draft and implement a new Content Strategy.
  • Research and recommend needed content to support business objectives based on audience.
  • Outline and plan for targeted content needs.
  • Draft and publish content by target audience.
  • Manage additional content being created by freelancers.
  • Keep personas updated and fresh.
  • Stay aware of changes within industry and able to adjust plans accordingly.
  • Police branding standards, voice, essence in all content. Collaborate with overall marketing and executive team.
Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree- Preferred Marketing, English or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years in a Content Marketing capacity
  • Proficient with Google
  • Experience in persona and journey mapping
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Experience working with copy and design freelancers
