Goal of EM One of the primary goals of our Major Accounts Program is to create a true account team to support the client and the consultants assigned to that client. A vital member of that team is the Engagement Manager (EM). This dedicated resource will strengthen client relationships by ensuring compliance to all administrative related tasks and enhanced consultant and team support on site. This role will initially be part-time on each account, with the amount of time and potential full-time dedication of a EM to the account driven by the growing requirements of the client and consulting base.  Note that this role also could be done off-site or on-site, with a strong preference for on-site time to help create a direct relationship between the EM and the client.

Understanding that each client’s requirements will drive customization of this role, the EM’s responsibilities will coalesce around the following three areas. Note that it will be determined with the Account Team which of these areas will be leveraged initially, which can be targeted for future integration, and which, if any, are not suitable for their specific client environment:

Client Administrative/ Operational Support:
  • Assist with Work Orders (WO)/ Statements of Work (SOW) required by the client for consultant engagements.
  • Manage SLA and other reporting required by the client.
  • Take part in monthly/ quarterly client reviews to support the above areas
Initial Consultant Support:
  • Assist with candidate interview scheduling, and with the AE/ recruiter as primary, also with interview walk-ins.
  • Client-specific consultant onboarding requirements.
  • With the AE as primary, assist with consultant first day requirements when needed.
  • Coordination of a Randstad Technologies “Welcome Wagon” kit for the consultant.
Ongoing Consultant Support:
  • Coordinate monthly and quarterly consultant and client events
  • Proactive consultant touch-bases on a TBD occurrence
  • Reactive consultant touch-bases through weekly, on-site “office hours”.
  • Actively monitor ongoing WOs/ SOWs end dates, etc. to drive the extension process, or to allow for proactive transition by the consultant into another role (where appropriate). For this, will be responsible for supporting the AEs communication to the client and for direct communication with the consultant (eg, wanted to let you know we’re working on an extension for you).  
Client Support
  • Assist the account manager with any soft selling on client meetings
  • Work with client managers on recruiting lifecycle, onboarding, and performance maintenance
  • Willingness to drive business and have a proactive sales approach
Required Skills/Background:
  • Understanding of and or Experience in Staffing Industry – preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience providing administrative or operational support in a corporate environment
  • Proven ability to maintain various complex reports in a timely manner – Excel spreadsheets and other MS reporting tools preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal / customer service skills
  • Must have reliable transportation. Travel between client sites will be required
