Position Title: Business Services Specialist

External Description:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide inbound telephone support for our internal and external customers, answer inquiries and questions regarding Randstad policies, procedures and system use. In addition, to handle complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information. Also, must render outstanding levels of service in a professional and thorough manner. The emphasis is on accuracy and consistency.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Answer calls and handle customer inquiries using questioning and listening skills
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints
  • Identify and escalate priority issues / route calls to appropriate resources
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Follow up with customer calls when necessary
  • Consistently answers 10% or 65 or more calls per day from Talent, Consultants and Clients
  • Met or exceeds KPI’s on a consistent basis
  • Assist with training of new Call Center Generalist
  • Act as a mentor to all Call Center Representatives and assist with knowledge transfer.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

  • College degree preferred
  • 6 to 12 months experience working with a Staffing Company or in a similar industry, a plus
  • 1 to 4 years’ experience in a call center or customer service environment, help desk a plus
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications and technical savvy
  • Bi-lingual a plus
