Position Title: RIS Operations Manager

The Operations Manager will provide day-to-day leadership and management to ensure the client receives the highest level of quality service in a timely and cost-effective manner; management of account P&L; client relationships, account management, team management and people development. The Operations Manager will oversee all site operations and is responsible for growth and development of both account(s) and account teams. In this collaborative role, the Operations Managers’ business acumen will be used to manage account revenue up to $10 million and/or be responsible for up to 5 accounts.
Position summary
- Maintain regular communication with key external client contacts and end users focused on expanding depth and increasing market and wallet share while providing tailored services and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction
- Oversee daily site operations with regard to resources, time, productivity, budget, quality of service while reducing turnover and increasing attendance/hours worked thus keeping the workforce engaged and motivated and contributing to profitability
- Manage and coach account management team regularly to evaluate its execution of the RIS solution, including the status of deliverables, achievement of KPIs, and opportunities for growth
- Develop and draw upon an extensive understanding of the client’s business, strategic direction, processes and policies and utilize to appropriately position RIS to further penetration
- Ensure compliance and coordinate efforts pertaining to unemployment hearings, applicant screenings (background, assessments, drug testing), safety, payroll, I-9s, and workers compensation 10%
- Collaborate with AVP or Partnership Director in recruiting, on-boarding, managing and developing staff for the account and the cluster
- Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews in tandem with Workforce Consultant providing proactive feedback for future performance
- HS Diploma HS Diploma
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
- 5+ years business experience preferred
- 1+ years people of management required
- Minimum 1 year in staffing or client’s industry a plus Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing work, and effective time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be comfortable presenting to and influencing various levels of management
- Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making skills required
- Must be innovative in approach, willing to take risks and operate successfully in ambiguous situations while simultaneously uncovering opportunities for growth
- Business acumen – P&L responsibility
- Sales minded (internal sales, market share)
