Position Title: Sales Director - Better Thing

Better Thing is looking for a senior level sales professional with a proven track record of quantified sales and service abilities within a recruiting solutions, software/tech start-up, or similar environment. Better Thing has a startup mentality that quickly learns and adapts with a core mission of connecting job seekers with a better way to find a job. This role will evolve and innovate as it disrupts traditional perm placement models to work in parallel with our new technology platform. It is a non-traditional sales leadership position, looking for someone who seeks to disrupt the industry they have become an expert in.
EXPERIENCE
- 5-10 years experience in B2B, consultative selling of recruiting solutions, such as perm placement or RPO
- 2+ years building and managing recruiting teams (remote teams a plus)
- Experience establishing successful verticals, markets, regions, and/or branch offices in high-demand, low supply verticals using unique or disruptive technologies or approaches to traditional methods/models
- Transportation industry experience a plus
- Experience in a tech start-up or software environment a plus
- Demonstrated success building and closing sales pipeline
- Experience engaging, cultivating, and closing with senior or C-level executives
- Experience training and cultivating hybrid sales/recruiting teams
- Understands challenges and solutions to engaging and matching talent with employers
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, manage, qualify, and maintain a database of clients and prospects that is aligned to the business opportunity in the identified market
- Sell Recruiting Services through effective phone calls and in-person visits, which foster a consultative relationship and increased business with the client.
- Recognize the need and actively nuance the engagement, sales, and pricing strategies for varied client segments (Enterprise, SMB, etc).
- Sell the value of Better Thing services to support customers in achieving their business goals.
- Effectively recruit, interview, retain, coach and develop Talent, understanding their needs and helping them meet their professional goals.
