We are looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Executive Search ConsultantThe role will partner with the business including functional & senior business leaders, HR and wider Talent Acquisition, demonstrating the role of a strategic, pro-active partner. The success of the role will be measured by the strategic interactions both internally and externally and the delivery of talent roadmaps - anticipating critical roles with suitable, engaged talent communities resulting in an improved, diverse shortlist and the creation of an effective in-house executive search function.

 

  • Closely partnering with regional TA leads to build and deliver strategies for critical/senior hires across the EMEA and APAC regions, with particular focus on key markets such as China, Japan, Netherlands, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and France
  • Be part of or lead ’hypercare’ projects for critical areas where a customised intervention is required
  • Quickly establishing a clear understanding of the business needs and what activity is required to best support successful hiring
  • Being an active networker; participating in conferences and industry-related external activity
  • Identify critical and ongoing staffing needs through the development of talent pipelines – proactively contacting and managing ongoing engagement with potential candidates, connecting them with hiring managers and Recruiters and driving successful conversion to hires
  • Manage partner vendor relationships, tracking activity, output and costs
  • Work closely with the I&D Lead to establish further routes to market
  • Act as a strategic partner to HR – facilitating internal career development from the client TAP (Talent Action Planning) process
  • Build extensive internal and external networks through multiple channels, including attending relevant global external meetings/conferences
  • Drive external market knowledge and intelligence ensuring engaged talent is shared and visible across all relevant business units and geographies
  • Work closely with key business stakeholders and internal partners (i.e. Global Talent Acquisition Team, Talent Management, HR) to understand the key roles, critical skills and the current population in order to assess risk areas where the talent pipeline would need expanding to meet future requirements
  • Closely collaborate with the wider Talent Acquisition team (EVP, Programs, I&D) to shape a highly-distinguished candidate experience
  • You will be required to travel across EMEA & APAC affiliates and to external conferences as required

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a strategic executive recruiter/talent role within Biotech/Pharma, likely to have prior experience as a Researcher in executive search or consulting

 

Additional Qualifications

  • Relevant business Degree or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience in a strategic executive recruiter/talent role within Biotech/Pharma, likely to have prior experience as a Researcher in executive search or consulting
  • Deep experience in competency, behavioural and capability assessments to provide an evidence based approach to selection
  • Experience of recruiting across multiple geographies and functions
  • The ability to scout for talent with an I&D lens, with an understanding of global nuances
  • Fluent in English, ideally with an additional language (Italian, French, Spanish, German)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems (Workday/Avature desirable)
