External Description:

The Event Project Specialist role is responsible for executing on Staffing Events by effectively supporting and implementing all projects and events. The Event Project Specialist will be responsible for delivering on several projects within our client’s Talent Acquisition organization. The Project Specialist will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Sr. Director to ensure a seamless delivery of event strategies & execution.

Responsibilities:

Interface with multiple stakeholders when planning and recruiting for events and managing their respective deliverables for those events
Manage event logistics, production, signage, shipping, and staffing for tradeshows and local field events
Interface directly with vendors, technology partners, and customers to manage demos, booth logistics, speaking opps, cocktail and party functions, etc to provide the highest level event experience aligned with our go-to-market strategy
Research new event options and gather information to assess the relevance of the show for target audience, messaging, etc • Work all onsite tasks at tradeshows and field events including: set up and tear down, vendor handling, troubleshooting, audience gathering, product pitching, staff wrangling, etc

Basic Qualifications

 

5+ years of experience working events
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

 

Strong work ethic and ability to perform with minimal direction
Superior attention to detail and impeccable customer service
Captivating and assertive booth presence, with the ability to “draw” lots of people in
Exceptional negotiation skills
Ability to stand your ground without alienating others
Laser focus on accomplishing objectives
Aptitude for working in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
