Randstad In House Services will be hiring an Operations & Workforce Manager (Industrial Engineer & Client Consultant) to support our account operations in the Greater LA market. 

The Operations & Workforce Manager will partner with onsite account teams and our clients in a manufacturing and logistics environment to help our clients achieve operational and financial goals through:

  • Credibility with the client - experience and expertise in operational management and human resources in a manufacturing and logistics environment
  • Implementation and continuous improvement of workforce optimization strategies including:  hiring, scheduling, training, motivating, managing the talent pool
  • HR analytics that clearly demonstrate how leading indicators contribute to client success
  • Keen attention to risk mitigation in the areas of:  legal workforce, fair hiring practices, fair and effective coaching and management, co-employment protection, and safe work environments
  • Being knowledgeable about Fair Labor practices and Labor Union laws

  • Workforce optimization:  scheduling, managing OT and idle time
  • Job analysis, job descriptions, job coding
  • Create effective hiring profiles and hiring processes
  • Effective qualifying and screening, maintaining documentation
  • Confirming and managing the legality of the workforce
  • Protecting client companies from co-employment risk
  • Federal, state, and local laws regarding employee rights, employer responsibilities (ADA, FMLA, Unemployment, etc.)
  • Performance management - motivating, coaching, tough conversations
  • Training and development of the workforce
