Successful Staffing Manager is responsible for meeting & exceeding yearly, monthly, weekly, daily KPI’s, so accountability is key!

Position Summary: Business Development & Client Management:

  • Pro-actively engage and sell to prospective clients to generate temporary, full time and direct hire manufacturing & logistics opportunities
  • Build Manufacturing & Logistics client relationships positioning Randstad as a staffing industry leader
  • Grow the Manufacturing & Logistics business through new client acquisition and increase of market share
  • Negotiate and establish pay rates and bill rates in line with gross margin and profitability targets
  • Meet with Manufacturing & Logistics clients and potential clients outside the branch through fact finding meetings and following up with proposal of services to generate new clients
  • Build, manage, qualify, and maintain a database of Manufacturing & Logistics clients and prospects, by lead generation, cold calling, canvassing, account development & management
  • Network within Manufacturing & Logistics community to build business and stay abreast of industry/market trends

Recruiting & General Operations:

  • Utilize Front Office technology to document Manufacturing & Logistics client and talent activity/interactions to help drive sales/recruiting effectiveness
  • Performing all Manufacturing & Logistics legal and client related compliance functions in regards to talent onboarding i.e. I9s, background checks, reference checks, assessments, drug screenings, etc.
  • Utilize front office technology to conduct payroll and bill processes
  • Exceed client and talent expectations by following Randstad's Operational Standards and offering innovative and creative employment solutions.


Qualifications/Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of business experience in a customer service and sales environment
  • Individuals will have experience being held accountable for individual KPIs/Metrics and new business goals with a proven track record of success
  • Accountability to deliver positive, measurable results
  • The desire to work in a team-based environment
  • Able to take constructive feedback for continued development in performance
  • Extremely organized, able to self-manage and be self-disciplined
  • Takes initiative and is proactive
  • Undergraduate degree is preferred but not required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and multi-task and effectively prioritize workload
  • Must work independently, as well as a team, and manage multiple priorities
