Position Title: Corporate Counsel

External Description:

Position Overview:

Provide professional contract review and negotiation and assistance to the General Counsel, senior management, and the sales team on various matters including acting as the first point of contact in customer contract management, contract preparation, negotiation support, and contract compliance.

 

Principal Responsibilities

  • Review, revise and negotiate client contracts to ensure they comply with the company’s terms and conditions
  • Circulate and discuss contracts with various Randstad departments for review
  • Make recommendations to the General Counsel, senior management, and the Vice President of Contract Management for improvements to the process
  • Maintain a database of customer contracts
  • Assist Legal Team with contract disputes and other charges

 

Education (Required and Preferred):

  • Juris Doctorate Degree required
  • Five or more years of professional legal experience preferred
  • Negotiation experience with commercial contracts 5 years of relevant contract review experience preferred
  • Knowledge of contract principles
  • Knowledge of contract negotiations
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
