JOB SUMMARY:
This position will oversee the strategic and tactical direction of the Line of Business or Geographic Area for the assigned operating company.  Lead the business in defining strategy, goals and objectives and facilitate action in the accomplishment of those goals.
Greater strategic focus;  Develop/implement strategy and skills to improve sales productivity;  Leader by example particularly in the area of production;  Manage sale & delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; define and develop business plan; multi-site management; budget/forecast management; foster strategic alliances, business partnerships & relationships with key clients
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Responsibilities:
- Direct collaboration with new and existing clients
GP/Revenue Responsibility:
- Assigned Group/Region responsibilities
Freedom to Act/Accountability:
- Guidance given:  Work is performed without appreciable direction.  Recommends strategic and organizational objectives.  Develops and interprets company policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers and directors.  Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-time perspective for desired results
o Facilitate and lead the business planning process for the Operating Company
- Policy involvement:  Establishes organizational policies for a major segment or cross-functional area of activity.  Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company policy
Supervisory/Relationship:
- Responsible, through senior middle managers, for the operation of a multi-functional area.  Determines and establishes organizational structure and supervisory relationships subject to top management approval.  Often responsible for managing major segment of company.
Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:
- Work as part of the sales team on new and existing clients
- Work with sales on forecast modeling to optimize operations and maximize profitability
- Research and develop strategic partnerships and alliances with organizations that will enhance the Company’s position in the market and result in increased revenues
- Facilitate defining critical business metrics and strategy for achievement
- Coordinate operating company acquisition analysis
- Support the Group Leader in the strategic planning process of the business, to include market and industry potentials, product positioning as well as competitive positioning and direction
Impact:
- Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to major strategies and objectives of the organization and would seriously affect the financial, associate, or public relations posture of the company
- Understand and support obtaining the tools and resources needed by the business to be successful in accomplishing its goals
Liaison:
- Represents the organizational unit as prime internal or customer contact on multi-functional operations.  Conducts briefings and technical meetings for top management and customer representatives.  Interacts with equivalent level inter-organizational managers concerning matters of significance to the company
 
EDUCATION:
Advanced degree required
 
EXPERIENCE:
8 – 12 years of sales or operations management experience
 
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Demonstrated ability to lead a functional area of the company and make critical business decisions
- Experience solving difficult business issues with creative solutions
- Superior coaching skills
- Ability to develop company-wide strategies and goals
- Provide leadership on company culture initiatives
- Able to interact with high-level decision makers
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills 
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels of company personnel
