External Description:
Seeking a contract Program Specialist for Cisco's University Relation’s organization. This role is responsible for driving leadership decision-making, process improvements and performance while reducing non-value-added activities. In addition, this individual will define a multi-year roadmap to take the several University programs to the next level. This position will have high visibility working directly with senior management at Cisco.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and enhance internal relationships with relevant stakeholders to drive improved decision-making and accountability across the executive team
Define and develop best practice sharing with other University Project Specialists; develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with business stakeholders and University peers (Recruiting, Relationship and Theater Leads.)
Drive accountability and process improvement based on key performance metrics and targets i.e. delivery performance, forecast accuracy, etc.
Experience:
Experience leading large scale global programs, management experience, advanced analytical, communication and project management skills and a proven track record of y/y program enhancement and results.
5+ years experience.
Must have large scale, global project management experience. Proven ability to lead executive-level individuals through decision-making processes. Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional partnership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proven record of successfully driving change through an organization.
Must be a self-starter, possess excellent organization skills, and have the aptitude to define operational requirements and implement processes and systems to support those requirements.
Thrive in an environment with an agenda for change, growth, innovation, and entrepreneurial behavior. Can demonstrate the ability to operate continually at an up-tempo pace in a dynamic, fast moving culture.
