The Business Development Manager, Physicians at Randstad Healthcare is responsible for revenue generation through new business development activities in temporary healthcare staffing. Accountable for meeting/exceeding growth and profit targets, by developing new client relationships using a variety of strategic sales tactics including networking, sourcing, cold calling, trade show attendance and by leveraging existing physicians relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage in new and existing client development activities. Activities include but are not limited to: sourcing, client visits, cold calling, qualifying initial clients, identifying potential end users/decision makers, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and service line expansion. Identify direct and third party, contract opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct new and follow-up client visits.
- Facilitate development of professional service agreements, including negotiation of terms and rates, between Randstad and clients.
- Establish client expectations and effectively communicate to appropriate parties. Advise client on staffing solutions.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of competitor offerings.
- Promote Randstad services through participation in professional associations, trade shows, and other public relations opportunities.
- Address client concerns in a timely manner.
- Accomplish results through combined effort of team.
- Document all sales activities and report results on a weekly basis. Leverage eRecruit to track and maintain current and prospective clients.
- Frequent contact with interorganizational managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements or contractual clarification.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 – 5 years sales experience; healthcare staffing experience desired.

- Sales abilities along with market knowledge and/or product/technical expertise
- Knowledge of commonly used recruiting concepts, practices and procedures for sourcing and screening in a recruiting and internal staffing environment
