The Business Development Manager, Physicians​ at Randstad Healthcare is responsible for revenue generation through new business development activities​ in temporary healthcare staffing​​. Accountable for meeting/exceeding growth and profit targets, by developing new client relationships using a variety of strategic sales tactics including networking, sourcing, ​cold calling​, trade show attendance and by leveraging existing physicians relationships. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engage in new and existing client development activities. Activities include but are not limited to: sourcing, client visits, cold calling, qualifying initial clients, identifying potential end users/decision makers, establishing relationships with key stakeholders, and service line expansion. Identify direct and third party, contract opportunities.
  • Schedule and conduct new and follow-up client visits.
  • Facilitate development of professional service agreements, including negotiation of terms and rates, between Randstad and clients.
  • Establish client expectations and effectively communicate to appropriate parties. Advise client on staffing solutions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of competitor offerings.
  • Promote Randstad services through participation in professional associations, trade shows, and other public relations opportunities.
  • Address client concerns in a timely manner.
  • Accomplish results through combined effort of team.
  • Document all sales activities and report results on a weekly basis. Leverage eRecruit to track and maintain current and prospective clients.
  • Frequent contact with interorganizational managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements or contractual clarification.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree required.

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 3 – 5 years sales experience; healthcare staffing experience desired.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan
