Position Title: RHC SVP, Sales

JOB SUMMARY:

This position’s primary responsibility will be to increase revenue and gross profit through the efforts of personal sales and management of the sales/account management team.  Key areas of attention and focus will be in providing coaching support, materials and sales process direction to the sales and account management teams that will result in profitable growth for Randstad Healthcare.

Develop process, strategy, and skills to improve sales productivity; leader by example particularly in the area of production; manage sales and delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; implement business plan; multi-site management; budget/forecast management; foster strategic alliances, business partnerships, and relationships with key clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Responsibilities:

  • Direct collaboration with new and existing clients, developing new accounts with a diverse client mix

GP/Revenue Responsibility:

  • Region over $50 million revenue (combined revenue for all sites)

Freedom to Act/Accountability:

  • Guidance given: Work is performed without appreciable directions.  Determines organizational objectives, interprets company policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers involving multi-level organizations.  Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-time perspective for desired results
  • Leads the development of strategic and operations plans on an annual basis
  • Policy involvement: Establishes organizational policies for a major segment of the company.  Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company policy.

Supervisory/Relationship:

  • Lead effort to adopt a sales management practice
  • Provide coaching and training support
  • Leads the efforts to direct, guide, and manage themselves and their sales forces to service existing accounts and to develop assigned target accounts
  • Generally accomplishes results through middle level managers. Determines and establishes organizational structure and supervisory relationships subject to top management approval

Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:

  • Personally sells with field personnel key accounts, especially Fortune 1000 accounts, National/ International Agreements and Major Restructuring Projects
  • Leads Business Development in creation, innovation and management, especially in the domain of National Account relationship structures and major projects
  • Responsible for the successful operation of activities of significance to the organization. Rarely becomes involved in the complexities of day to day operational problems.  Is more concerned to see that overall budget schedules and performance standards are realistically set and attained
  • Leads the development and management of Key Performance Indicators that enable everyone at every level to understand and positively influence their performance and the achievement of their objectives

Impact:

  • Manages the P&L, Weekly and Monthly Operations Reports and Field Operations to meet or exceed the annual business objectives defined in the annual strategic and operations plan

Liaison:

  • Conduct conference calls as appropriate with each group or combined groups
  • Collect and share sales best practices related to sales techniques, sales process and vertical market sales
  • Work directly for/with Operating Company President as part of Sales/Business Development management team

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor degree required

EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 – 8 years of sales or business development management experience
  • Staffing experience
  • Healthcare exposure

 SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
