Position Title: TAT Director, Business Develop

External Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will oversee the sales development deals worth $5MM or more within contingent national contracts call centers, outsourced recruitment, managed services, and new solutions/products as they are developed. 

Additionally, other specialty opportunities can and will be assigned as developed.  The main focus of this position is to assist the qualifying and thought leadership phases of the Client Lifecycle in order to gain action by clients to accept a Randstad solution.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management for goals and objective achievement

GP/Revenue Responsibility:

  • Under $50 million revenue (combined revenue for all sites)

Freedom to Act/Accountability:

  • Guidance given:  Work is performed without appreciable directions.  Determines organizational objectives, interprets company policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers involving multi-level organizations.   Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-time perspective for desired results
  • Policy involvement:  Establishes organizational policies for a major segment of the company.  Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to company policy.

Supervisory/Relationship:

  • Generally accomplishes results through middle level managers.  Determines and establishes organizational structure and supervisory relationships subject to top management approval.

Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:

  • Identifies opportunities for additional solutions within existing client base and communicates the benefits of the service offering to the client
  • Act as expert counsel during the entire sales process for selected prospects
  • Coordinates activities for conferences and events at which the organization can present thought leadership in order to drive new logo revenue
  • Assists in the development of long term account strategy within the top Company accounts
  • Conducts periodic visioning meeting with client and account team.
  • Continuously monitors the market for new trends and opportunities within the organization’s core competencies 

Impact:

  • Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in failure to achieve goals critical to major objectives of the organization and would seriously affect the financial, associate, or public relations posture of the company

Liaison:

  • Enhances business development activities throughout the client organization with particular emphases on client C-level decision makers.
  • Represents the organizational unit as prime internal or customer contact or contract or operations.  Conducts briefings and technical meeting for top management and customer representatives.  Interacts with equivalent level inter-organizational managers concerning matters of significance to the company.

 

EDUCATION:

College degree required

Additional education strongly preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

7-10 years of related sales/operations experience (industry/service)

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
