External Description:
The Account Manager role is a business development position responsible for developing new relationships and managing existing relationships with hiring managers and talent acquisition. The account manager will drive revenue growth within targeted accounts and will work with the Account Owner to ensure communication and strategy with each customer is consistent throughout the organization. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the sales delivery cycle and lead generation process in order to maintain and develop sales of the organization’s services to prospects and customers
This is achieved by:
- Develop relationships with hiring managers, introduce self, and role within Randstad and the program (intro talent advisor if necessary)
- Meet with your hiring managers to gain clear understanding of current state workforce, skill gaps, projected needs, and the support needed
- Develop Hiring Manager summaries outlining organization, functions, key stakeholders, preferences (skills/culture/locations, etc…), projects budgeted
- Build specific hiring profiles for each hiring manager and store in a repository where Delivery teams have access
- Develop a pipeline summary by hiring manager with potential skills needed, timing, rates, duration, etc… store in a repository where Delivery teams have access
- Complete a comprehensive requirements assessment for talent, with sufficient knowledge to construct holistic, best-match technical and soft skills criteria
- Work with hiring manager on an upcoming/approved need to qualify the requirement to its full extent (might be in conjunction with the talent advisor)
- Set qualification call with Hiring Manager & Delivery Manager to provide complete transparency on the talent needed
- Set process expectations with HM/Delivery on time to submit, candidate volume, skill challenges, interview times, selection speed post interview, anticipated start date
- Assist the Delivery Manager in requirement prioritization when needed based on Hiring Manager Demand
- Perform the final candidate QC prior to Hiring Manager view
- Review candidate profiles with Hiring Manager to determine the candidates to be interviewed
- Coordinate with Delivery to set interview dates, times, and prep needed to ensure a positive experience (HM & Candidate)
- Coordinate the interview meeting requests ensuring acceptance and preparation of all parties
- Coach Hiring Managers regarding their actions and accountability related to talent quality and cycle time coupled with effective interview techniques for each worker-type
- Attend interviews (virtually/in person) as needed to support Hiring Manager needs and/or to guide recruitment on next steps/recruiting strategy modifications
- Coordinate interview feedback from the Hiring Manager on candidate interviews to determine next steps (selection or continue recruiting)
- Make revisions to hiring profiles, Hiring Manager preferences, interview styles, interview questions when appropriate to enhance delivery efforts
- Complete check in with Hiring Manager at the end of Day 1
- Complete check in with Hiring Manager and Candidate at the end of Week 1 to discuss the first week observations and review time reporting/time approval processes
- Provide Day 1 & Week 1 feedback to Talent Experience Coordinators as needed to ensure candidate needs are met
Education and Experience Required:
- 2 years of experience and Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of staffing/industry experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
