Position Title: FRN VP, Franchise Recruitment

External Description:

The Vice President of Franchise Recruitment is responsible and accountable for all prospecting and executing new franchise relationships. The position will develop the strategies and tactics to achieve annual franchise sales goals. This will include the strategy for lead generation, approval of territories and achieving sales through execution of contract. Will also be responsible for ensuring franchise sales activities are conducted within approved policies and procedures. Individual will be responsible for generating new candidates in an assigned territory as well as leading a Director of Franchise Development. A successful leader will leverage significant experience in franchise operations, business planning and implementation as well as change management to drive impactful initiatives on time and budget to deliver the strategic objectives of the organization. This role has critical impact to overall company revenue and profitability as well as being a key driver in our brand’s continued development.
 
Principle Responsibilities
  • Develops and executes the annual national franchise sales plan for both new store and resale agreements, including lead generation, application approval, internal approval, and executive of sales contract. Manage overall sales process, set appropriate metrics for sales team management, and meet annual sales goals. 
  • Manages Franchise Development team and insures that all franchise sales activities are conducted within the approved policies and procedures. Responsible for updates to Franchise Disclosure Documents, and ongoing updates in process to remain compliant with all legal standards.
  • Manage relationships with existing franchisees and support their expansion plans. Monitors franchise expansion schedules in area development and individual franchise agreements. In coordination with President, promptly reclaims and remarkets territories of non-performing franchisees and works to re-segment market plans to have the most current sales strategy. 
  • Manage positive support from our Franchise Advisory/License Council(s), a group of highly influential franchisees assembled to provide feedback and help implement corporate strategies and programs.
  • Develops and manages the franchise development budget. Directs and participates in public relations activities to attract franchise prospects through positive franchise success stories in print & social media. Expand digital marketing and social media efforts for franchise opportunities. Directs activities of external marketing/media relations/communications and attends national staffing industry meetings, Franchise Association conferences, etc. 
  • Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, collaboration with corporate, etc.
 
Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field.
  • Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) preferred
  • Minimum ten years’ experience in executive management of multi-unit franchised organizations with progressively more responsible management accountabilities
  • A proven track record of demonstrated sales success in the franchise sales industry
  • MS Office proficiency, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word
