Overall Objective:
 
Under the guidance of the RRD, assist in the planning, directing and coordinating of the recruiting operations within the day-to-day business. Plan and maintain procedures for operating efficiency. Manage staff for optimum performance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Works with RRD to determine staffing requirements
  • Assigns and prioritizes all job requisitions ensuring proper coverage
  • Helps prepare and/or lead Daily Focus Meetings with the team
  • Involved in the hiring and training of new associates 
  • Mentor personnel & lead by example 
  • Work with the RRD to set employee goals and objectives 
  • Creates recruiting plan for the branch and stays updated with the latest recruiting trends
  • Develop staff to maximize potential 
  • Work with the MD to monitor staff performance which include regular performance reviews 
  • Review performance data (financial, sales and activity reports) to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels 
  • Responsible for the achievement of department/division/unit productivity and quality goals 
  • Delegate some work duties as necessary
  • Monitor and assist staff with work progress 
  • Evaluate current business processes
  • Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency 
  • Facilitate the preparation and analysis of reports
 
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
  • 3+ years of experience within staffing (preferably in engineering)
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices 
  • Knowledge of sales & strategic planning 
  • Proficient in relevant software applications
EDUCATION:
  • College degree required
  • Additional education preferred
 
EXPERIENCE:
  • 5 – 7 years of related experience
 
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
