Position Objective

This IT management position will lead Randstad US IT infrastructure service delivery functions. Reporting to the Sr Director of Cloud Infrastructure, the Manager of Infrastructure Services will be responsible for the overall planning, business relationship management, coordination and implementation of IT Infrastructure Services for corporate and field office installs, moves, adds and changes (IMAC), as well as excellent delivery of higher touch customer-facing infrastructure services.  We are looking for a proven leader with a customer-first, servant-leader approach and the right mix of business relationship, team leadership, project, process and operations management to help drive our cloud and digital transformation in a way that minimizes disruption and maximizes value for the business.

The Manager of Infrastructure Services will exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance that are directly related to the management and operation of the business, including:

Position Summary 

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise all activities related to IT Infrastructure Servicesassociated with office installations, moves, adds and changes (IMAC).     30%
  • Lead cross - functional process improvement efforts to standardize/improve IT Infrastructure processes and leverage (or transition to) 3rd  party services where appropriate.  Work cross functionally with  management,  business  stakeholders,  vendors and  internal  teams  to minimize business disruption and maximize business benefit of process changes.     20%
  • Cross-functional Problem-solving – Serve as customer escalation point and assist team(s) to drive problem solving through resolution to customer satisfaction.     15%
  • Customer Liaison and Advocate – Establish a strong network and foster collaboration.  Know the customer  and  their  unique  needs  across  multiple  operating  companies.    Establish credibility and trust.  Manage expectations effectively.  Bridge the gap between business and technology; make it simple to understand, request and use.     15%
  • Team management - Supervise and develop a team of MAC and Infrastructure specialists to adapt and embrace change as we transform the business.     20%

Education

  • Bachelor Degree (Engineering, CS and IT related preferred)

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years managing IT infrastructure teams with exceptional customer (internal or external) focus and bias for action
  • Previous business relationship management experience
  • Previous process transformation experience is a plus
  • ITIL, LEAN and Six Sigma experience preferred
