Position Title: TAT Talent Manager

External Description:

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for assisting in the execution of Tatum’s recruiting strategy to develop and maintain a bench of core, variable core, and flex talent to meet the company’s revenue goals.  Key components include sourcing candidates, assessing candidates, performing reference checks, and leading employee onboarding programs.  This includes building and maintaining a local market personal network and presence
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountability:
- Priorities are received and reviewed in terms of meeting Tatum’s objectives
- Follows corporate and operational policies and procedures and recommends process improvements
- Accomplishes results through the combined effort of the team
- Erroneous decisions or recommendations may result in delays, cause expenditure of time, human resources and funds and may affect future business activity
Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:
- Supports the local and potentially national recruiting efforts by leading candidate sourcing efforts; creates sourcing plan, researches companies; develops job board / LinkedIn ads; proactively sources candidates via job boards, social media sites and asses resumes for technical fit
- Assists in staffing projects by understanding client needs and matching existing and new Consultants to engagements or direct hire opportunities
- Maintains a “sales” focus to determine client leads and opportunities
- Assist with onboarding of new talent by sending new hire announcements, welcome e-mails and training on system
- Creates and maintains complete bullhorn candidate records, including recruiting notes, activities, files, and skills
- Participates in all Consultant retention activities; takes a lead role in planning periodic social events and Tatum alumni events
- Develops and maintains relationships with applicants and Consultants
- Assists Consultants in transitions from project to project and in professional development initiatives; assists with Consultants’ end of engagement project reviews
- Promotes Tatum’s presence in the local market through participation in networking organization and events
Liaison:
- Develop working relationships with peers throughout Randstad and identify go-to contacts
- Develop a good understanding and ability to articulate full suite of Randstad offerings
 
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required
 
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of relevant recruiting experience required
Experience in related Big 4 accounting or auditing firm and/or mid-level industry experience in accounting/finance preferred
Prior experience as part of a professional services delivery team preferred
Strong professional recruiting network in the local office area
 
SKILLS REQUIRED: 
- Strong communication skills including the ability to articulate via the phone and in person
- Ability to develop and execute a successful consultant sourcing strategy; technically proficient in all aspects of Internet recruiting
- Ability to assess technical and soft skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit – a desire to build a world-class consulting business
- Ability to negotiate and influence others
- Experience presenting to C-level executives
- Experience scoping and documenting project or client requirements
- Strong customer focus and customer service skills
- Adaptable and flexible to change and has a strong sense of urgency in completing tasks
- A team player with strong soft skills.  Ability to collaborate and support team effectively
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
