Position Title: Talent Position

External Description:

The Talent Experience Coordinator is responsible for guiding new candidates and existing talent through the Payroll Solutions process from inception to completion of assignment, and redeployment. This person will be responsible for four key areas to effectively manage the full talent life cycle: Onboarding, Payroll Administration, Reporting, and Operational Effectiveness.

 

Onboarding

  • Guide the talent through a successful orientation including: welcome correspondence, legal forms, TAPA, compliance, and I9 documents
  • Manage eVerify and compliance process with 100% accuracy
  • Proactively communicate with talent and clients throughout the life cycle
  • Partner with appropriate parties to troubleshoot, escalate, and resolve issues while meeting SLAs

 

Payroll Administration

  • Create orders and assignments accurately and timely
  • Review and enter all timecards (as needed), expenses, bonuses, commissions
  • Manage pay and bill rates, sick time, taxes, screenings, and civic duty for talent and clients; adjusting as requested by client and required by law
  • Complete payroll documentation needed for payroll stops, voids, batch cancellations, stop payments, and reversals
  • Meet payroll deadlines to ensure accurate billing for clients and timely talent pay
  • Work with leadership team to stay abreast of new information and process updates

 

Reporting, Audit, & Analytics

  • Review and proactively audit and analyze financial and operational reports Input vendor invoicing for payment
  • Maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments; adhering to P.O. funding requirements as appropriate

 

General Operations

  • Review client job descriptions to confirm requirements meet RSR guidelines for risk, geographic location, minimum wage, and scope
  • Manage talent relations issues through coaching/counseling talent
  • Represent RSR in Worker’s Comp and Unemployment hearings as appropriate
  • Document all contact, inquiries, and resolutions within appropriate system
  • Appropriately off-board talent in alignment with RSR and Unemployment practices

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience in payroll operations/HR/staffing required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with vendor management systems (VMS) and payroll tools/solutions is a plus
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Basic Payroll knowledge to include federal, state, county, city regulations pertaining to overtime, sick accruals/pay, civic obligations, paid time off, and taxes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient with the Google environment including Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Slides
  • Excellent organizational, time management skills, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to apply sound judgment and decision-making skills in dealing with a variety of routine and non-routine issues, often with limited standardization
  • Possess strong problem solving skills
  • Detail oriented with a concern for continuous improvement
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
