External Description:

The MSP Implementation Manager will be responsible for managing new or existing client projects as well as internal projects, ensuring that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters.  Provides leadership and guidance to other project personnel.  This position can also be an individual project contributor responsible for managing smaller scope projects

Lead others; manage delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; project budget accountability; goals and objectives management; develop and maintain executive level relationships with clients and internal team members; drives results and accountability; ensures quality of service and product; consults with client and provides guidance.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Freedom to act/Accountability:

  • Guidance given: Assignments are received in objective oriented terms.  Provides guidance to subordinate supervisors or high level staff specialists based on organizational goals and company policy.  Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization’s objectives and schedules
  • Policy involvement: Administers operating policies that affect subordinate multi-level organizational units.  Interprets, executes and recommends modifications to organizational policies

Supervisory/Relationship:

  • Accomplishes results through subordinate supervisors or exempt specialist associates. Modifies the structure of organizational units or a centralized functional activity subject to senior middle management approval.  Often responsible for managing a staff function of the company
  • Manages teams from multiple functional areas. Assigns tasks, develops team behaviors and operating rules, mentors and guides team behavior in providing quality service in accordance with established practices and standards.  May be responsible for training other team members for specific project requirements.  Evaluates performance of team members.

Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:

  • Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational unit. Acts as an advisor to subordinate supervisors or staff members to help meet established schedules and resolve technical or operational problems.  Directly participates in establishing/administering centralized functional projects.  Submits and administers budget schedules and performance standards
  • Manages, monitors, tracks and is accountable for progress, deliverables, and quality assurance of an overall project; manages and documents changes as necessary and appropriate, ensuring that project team, client, and internal departments are informed
  • May participate in sales activities, proposal development and marketing of services to clients

Impact:

  • Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in critical delays and modifications to project/operations; cause substantial expenditure of time, human resources, and funds; and jeopardize future business activity

Liaison:

  • Frequent contact with equivalent level inter-organizational managers and customer representatives concern projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, or contractual clarification. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives.
  • Manages customer relationships, preparing for, and presenting at planning, kickoff and ongoing status meetings

 

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 4 years of Project Management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of MSP talent acquisition experience
  • Experience with implementing recruiting technologies such as VMS, ATS, etc.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • High School diploma, Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred

  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability and experience with continuous improvement
  • Ability and experience with designing and documenting process for a contingent and/or direct hire recruiting lifecycle
  • Ability to drive results and accountability
  • Ability to recognize and mitigate risks
  • Requires demonstrated project management skills
