Position Title: Bus Services Sr Analyst II

External Description:

The Senior Analyst with general direction will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing reporting and analytical tools for Business Services that will drive process improvements and make use of automation.  The implementations will include work in Excel, SQL, Hyperion, PeopleSoft, and Automation Anywhere as well as other tools, systems and software that are needed or may be assigned at a later time. 

The Sr. Analyst will be expected to help assess business processes/requirements and recommend solutions.  This individual will work closely with the Corporate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team and act as the RPA champion within their department.  The work will span all of the teams reporting to the VP, Business Services, namely Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, Credit and VMS.

 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Consult with team on processes and evaluate solutions
  • Training and development of other team member in Excel Best practices
  • Weekly & Monthly Reporting & ANalysis - including AR, bad debt reserves and cash activity
  • Ad hoc customer, financial and operational analysis
  • Support/development in new tools (e.g. DOMO) to support Business Services initiatives
  • RPA Champion- Learn and stay current on RPA tools, techniques, and best practices
  • Tier 1 Development with Automation Anywhere
  • Work with Business Services Leadership to prioritize automations
  • Ad hoc automations, and reporting support as needed
  • Metrics reporting, automation and analysis

 Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred): 

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Systems
  • CPA, MBA preferred
  • 5 + years in industry preferred
  • Experience with Hyperion, JD Edwards, and PeopleSoft preferred
  • Superior Expertise in Excel Required
