Position Title: MSP Global Program Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will provide strategic direction and leadership for a large global managed services program that spans multiple countries and across multiple disciplines.  The associate in this position will have the ability to provide both strategic and tactical support to achieve program objectives and SLAs.  Establish and maintain high-level client and supplier relationships.  Administer the VMS tool in response to the hiring managers, program sponsors, and corporate support.  Ensure maximum communication and service levels to the client hiring managers and staffing suppliers

Leader by example; implement strategies to achieve contracted service level metrics; manage sale and delivery of products/services to achieve agreed end result; budget accountability; goals and objectives management; maintain communication with key client representatives to ensure successful business development and ongoing account relationship

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Responsibilities:

  • Identify problematic client issues and suggest corrective actions
  • Seek out opportunities to improve/streamline current processes
  • Participate in client companies’ workforce planning, workforce relations, and rewards/recognition/retention programs
  • Maintain and manage Operations logs with Client. Prioritizing needs with client when necessary

GP/Revenue Responsibility:

  • Achieve results as defined in annual account budget

Freedom to Act/Accountability:

  • Guidance given: Assignments are received in objective oriented terms.  Provides guidance to subordinate supervisors or high level staff specialists based on organizational goals and company policy.  Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organization’s objectives and schedules
    • Overall account compliance while maintaining SLAs
  • Policy involvement: Establishes operating policies that affect subordinate multi-level organizational units.  Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies

Supervisory/Relationship:

  • Coach, motivate and direct team to achieve desired results
  • Mentor a team of direct reports
  • Actively participate in employee development
  • Review and provide feedback on performance

Direct Work Involvement/Complexity:

  • Provide strategic direction for the program to meet mutually agreed upon objectives
  • Pursue opportunities to raise our profile within the client as appropriate
  • Review and follow up and resolve any unpaid hours and expenses on a monthly basis
  • Once up and running; serve as an overflow for other RMS program coordination needs
  • Distribute requisitions and process submittals on a daily basis
  • Coordinate web time entry and invoicing as needed on a client by client basis
  • Participate in the implementation and delivery of a quarterly business review and supplier scorecards

Impact:

  • Erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in critical delays and modifications to project/operations; cause substantial expenditure of time, human resources and funds; and jeopardize future business activity
  • Maintain program statistics and distribute metric reports weekly, monthly, etc…

Liaison:

  • Frequent contacts with equivalent level inter-organizational managers and customer representatives concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements or contractual clarification. Conducts briefings and technical meetings for internal and external representatives
  • Work with RMS Implementation Managers to develop standardized program policies, procedures, training modules, user manuals, quality metrics, client reporting, and other required program materials
  • Work closely with business units and alliance supply-base to ensure resource delivery

 

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required

College degree strongly preferred

 

EXPERIENCE:

8+ years MSP experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience running a large global program or multiple programs

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Prior experience with VMS tools; Fieldglass preferred
  • Experience presenting to C-level executives
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing large, complex accounts or projects
  • Experience with new account change management for large number of users
  • Experience with IT recruiting as well as Project Staffing and SOW business
  • Experience describing and documenting project or client requirements
  • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
  • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
  • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
