Position Overview:
The Communications Specialist will support all facets of the organization with various communication needs including (but not limited to) internal and external communications, content creation, maintenance of the internal websites, sales initiatives and materials, marketing campaigns and public relations. The position will consult with the manager of corporate internal communications to strategize, prioritize and align communication strategies, needs and goals.. This is a key role providing company-wide communications to 2000+ employees and over 1,000 branch/client-dedicated locations in the U.S, including frontline and remote field locations, prospects and customers, all while partnering with other functions to support their communication needs. This position supports each functional department in communicating business goals, objectives and priorities by producing internal communications and external content that are relevant, timely, compelling, creative and engaging.
The ideal candidate is a strong, succinct writer and communicator with the intent and ability to drive business success. The role also requires experience implementing content/communications plans and company initiatives to all levels of the organization. This professional will be a part of the marketing team and needs to be creative, collaborative, flexible, adaptable and a team player.
Principle Responsibilities:

Develop and execute communication strategies/plans for projects/initiatives for internal/external stakeholders using a range of communications vehicles to effectively communicate "What you need to know" and "What you need to do" information to all audiences. Stakeholders include:

- Build plan and calendar based on key messages, target audiences and desired outcomes derived from stakeholder analysis.
- Manage intranet (content)
- Proofread and edit communication pieces for all audiences
- Collaborate with marketing and public relations to ensure consistent messaging to various audiences
- Produce content for all communications assets as outlined in communications plan
- Partner with operating companies to ensure alignment and coordination of messaging and communications vehicles
- Measure effectiveness of communications
- Collaborate with specific internal stakeholders to create relevant content for external use.
Education & Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
-
College degree in Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or Public Relations, or equivalent business experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a multifaceted communications, marketing, or public relations role

Prior staffing industry experience or experience in a communications role in a fast growing sales based organization with retail branch locations is a plus
