Position Title: RP Managing Director 1

External Description:

Randstad is hiring for a Selling Managing Director to lead the team in our finance and accounting division in our Harrisburg, PA office. The primary objective of the Selling Managing Director is driving profitable growth of the branch through local sales that continuously increase Randstad’s market share. The successful Managing Director leads a team of business development consultants, staffing managers and executive recruiters. The Managing Director will manage P&L and budget, prospect sales, client relationships, account management, team performance management and development.

Job Details:

  •  Responsible for managing all aspects of the branch, driving branch productivity and profitability
  • Lead a team of business development consultants, staffing managers and executive recruiters
  • Engage, develop and grow teams
  • Drive sales, hold others accountable and have coaching conversations
  • Develop and create succession plans and always look to pipeline internal talent
  • Generate $250k+ in personal production per year to include 50% from personal sales activities in both the staffing and direct hire divisions
  • Evaluate the potental for the business, identify current business strengths and grow the business through new client acquisition and increase of market share
  • Establish pay rates and bill rates are in line with companies gross profit and gross margin targets
  • Drive the sales effort with continual contact and face to face meetings with C-level executives
  • Maintain, build and grow clients relationships, positioning Randstad as a staffing industry leader.
  • Achieve budget profitability and identify opportunities for new revenue streams through internal/personal networking, supporting the sales process locally & stay abreast of industry/market trends
  • Monitor and control costs and bear responsibility for full P&L
  • Work with management to ensure profit of the business, adherence to the contracts and SLAs, and to seek opportunities for improvement
  • Utilize Randstad Front Office technology to document client and talent activity/interactions to help drive sales and recruiting effectiveness
  • Track, analyze, communicate and manage overall progress of sales and recruiting efforts against activity targets
  • Establish, enhance and communicate business plans with Regional Leaders to define and drive strategies to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction

  Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 3+ years demonstrated success in business to business sales
  • Leadership experience in the staffing industry (requirement for consideration - please ensure staffing industry experience is listed on resume)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams with evidence of advancement of direct reports
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving abilities
