Position Title: RCD Managing Director

External Description:

The Managing Director - Recruiting  is responsible for providing day to day management of an assigned business unit. This responsibility will include strategic oversight of account management and recruiting teams, and leading day to day operations of a team or multiple teams. The Managing Director - Recruiting  is also responsible for leading new business pursuit efforts directly to facilitate the lead by example subject matter expertise necessary to encourage and instill all the right behaviors that are essential to promoting a positive high performing team environment.

Position Summary:

  • Remotely evaluating talent and assessing client demands to make the match between the client’s staffing needs and the candidate’s skills and experience with speed and quality top of mind
  • Providing sound leadership that effectively delivers Randstad’s operational standards with excellence in recruitment, selection and retention of talent.
  • Coaching, leading and developing recruiting team, actively supporting employee growth, acting as a mentor and ensuring all new hires are successfully onboard.
  • Ensuring compliance and coordinating efforts pertaining to applicant screenings (background, assessments, drug testing), safety, payroll, I-9s, talent records and workers compensation.
  • Creating and executing a strategic recruitment plan via sourcing, interviewing, coaching, retaining, and developing candidates exceeding client expectations.
  • Utilizing VMS systems to effectively manage candidate submittals, interviews and offers
  • Mentor new hires and aid during onboarding
  • Help create reporting efficiencies for internal/external reporting
  • Act as point of contact for daily activity results with Branch Manager
  • Attend unemployment hearings
  • Effectively mentor assigned recruiters
  • Review and prepare monthly trainings
