Position Title: VP, Marketing Planning & Ops

The VP of Marketing Planning & Operations is a crucial leadership role that will connect all the brand experience workstreams and bring them to life. This person will work across PR/communications, creative, social media, and customer channels to deeply understand and ensure detailed work plans are in place. The role works closely as the CMOs right hand and partners with all marketing to define and align the marketing plans and track and measure progress and outcomes. The VP of Marketing Planning & Operations will lead a team responsible for all aspects of marketing operations. He/she will be responsible for creating structured, repeatable, scalable process, measure marketing performance, and uncover insights that help drive the business. This position partners with other marketing leaders to enable organizational alignment towards critical business objectives and provides the marketing organization, critical project management, measurement and best practice infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Spearheading the creations of our departments Objectives, Goals, Strategies, Initiatives and Metrics and mapping to deliverables.
• Development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
• Gain alignment across the marketing organization regarding Objectives, Goals & Strategies.
• Strategically assessing priorities and tracking progress and reporting of OGSIM and by LOB
• Provide strategic oversight and operational rigor to fully integrate strategies across all channels, including digital, social, creative, etc.
• Develop and consolidate overall annual marketing roadmap in partnership with Marketing leaders.
• Begin to lesion with other functional departments to gain alignment.
• Call out cross functional interdependencies and highlighting potential disconnects.
• Build Strategic objectives and map how the projects link/drive each
• Be able to prioritize based on knowledge of the business, OGSIM understanding and ROI.
• Stewardship and alignment around metrics. Look at wholistically against OGSIM
• Create standardized goals for regular tracking + reporting marketing measurement.
• Ensures KPIs are measured and shared regularly.
• Budget overview spending and impact
• Owner of PM tool (airtable). Oversight of integration.
• Oversight and owner of our POD online store, our online promo store and our DAM site.
• Identify, and implement process and execution innovations and best practices to constantly optimize the speed, quality, and quantity of output of the team, while mitigating risk factors such as turnover, data loss, security, and vendor disruption.
• Manage/execute multiple ongoing improvement projects and facilitate ongoing marketing processes.
• Ability to drive ideas from concept to completion through superior organizational, project management and team leadership skills.
• Create a scalable process that supports the execution against our annual roadmap
• Build a successful team structure of resources that enables efficient delivery of quality work.
• Ensure cross team communication & collaboration
- Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree Preferably marketing-related
- 8 Traditional and digital marketing experience required
- 8 Provides guidance, leadership, or training to other employees.
- Must have advanced project management experience.

- Ability to think strategically and bring many ideas/plans together into one common goal.
- Process oriented to coach, facilitate, guide, and support other team members in shepherding work through the lean-agile process
- Proficient problem-solving techniques
- Expertise/experience in executing digital campaigns: email, ads, web, SEO, etc
- Good skills in presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation
- Proficient with office technology including Office, Google, and Agile PM tools
- Proficient using Google mail, calendaring and shared drive
