We are looking to add a talented Business Development Manager to our successful team in San Diego. In this position you are responsible for generating new business, developing current accounts, attend networking events, and represent Randstad as a knowledgeable industry leader. Randstad Professionals is a leading provider of accounting, finance and HR staffing and recruitment needs. The BDM is primarily responsible for working closely with existing and prospective clients, ensuring that all needs are met and strong relationships are established. You are essentially the face of our branch!

Responsibilities include:

  • Execute and manage daily business development activities including inside and outside sales, client visits and proposals, and marketing campaigns to generate new business.
  • Develop a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
  • Build and maintain an account portfolio of clients and prospects with top employers and business segments in the local market.
  • Learn and keep up to date with industry trends specifically within the finance, accounting, and HR hiring world.
  • Be able to quote competitive pricing and negotiate contract terms.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of Sales experience
  • Strong work ethic: pushes him/herself to exceed set goals
  • Can bond with our current team’s competitive yet respectful culture. This has been the core to our success!
  • Proficient using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
