Position Title: Business Services Analyst

External Description:

Position Overview:  The VMS Specialist is a support role to the VMS Team. This role includes running reports, processing adjustments and special invoicing in VMS tools, delivery of weekly billing recons, processing uploads for bill no pay items, assisting the VMS Cash analysts with payment prep, organizing and updating VMS documents and shared folders, and providing support for special projects. The VMS Team is responsible for managing A/R and preparing payment files related to VMS business; approximately $450M total annual revenue. 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and deliver daily reports, Prepare and deliver weekly recons, submit credit debit memos and invoicing in VMS tool, assist VMS supervisors and manager, as needed.
  • Perform accurate daily reconciliations of various VMS payments within 48hr standard SLA.
  • Resolve and prevent application discrepancies through research and analysis, consulting with VMS Account Analysts and Supervisor when necessary.

Education & Experience (Required and Preferred): 

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience in business, is preferred
  • 3+ years in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, and/or related Finance and Accounting experience is required.
  • 1+ years in VMS, Financial, or Staff Accounting experience is preferred.


Qualifications & Skills (Required and Preferred): 

  • MS Excel skills at an Intermediate level or higher 
  • Accounting and G/L knowledge preferred
  • Analytical, Organization, & Decision-making skills
  • Process and Technical understanding with the ability to speak to both 
  • Professional verbal and written and communication skills 
  • Effective time management handling multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines 
  • Team player, positive role model and skilled motivator
  • Self-starter; requires little to no direction from management to drive day to day activities
