Essential Job Responsibilities of the Director, Executive Search:
- Assumes full desk responsibilities while driving revenue and GP growth through client development sales and direct hire placements.
- Utilizes sales and recruitment activities to achieve minimum performance standards and above through direct hire billings.
- Proven success in pipelining & matching candidates for placement, managing the direct hire process including lead generation with existing and/or new accounts.
- Responsible for talent attraction, sourcing, interviewing, marketing candidates, coordinating interview activities and closing placements.
- Retention and business development initiatives and minimizing fall-offs by executing the post placement process.
- Will exercise discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance that are directly related to the management and operation of the business.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Work Experience
- Executive Search experience is preferred.
- 5-7 years of business development experience
- Previous experience and/or background in Finance and Accounting strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to successfully interface with clients (internal and external).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work within a team environment.
- Ability to make decisions, take direction and execute a plan.
- Detail oriented with follow-through shown in previous positions.
- Able to communicate with and present at the executive level.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to qualify and close deals.
- Assertive and ambitious with strong persuasion/negotiation skills.
