JOB SUMMARY: The overall mission of an Account Manager at Randstad Engineering is to be engaged along with driving strong growth and profitability in a sustainable manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB A balance between account development and account management skills is necessary in this role.  Account Managers progress from mainly account development early in their tenure (approximately the first 12 months) and then transition into mainly account management for the next 12-24 months.  Within three years, an account manager will be managing accounts 85% of the time and developing business 15% of the time.
 
EDUCATION: 
  • College Degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE:
  • Stability demonstrated within work history
  • Goal Oriented/Results Driven
  • Ability to demonstrate and articulate results achieved
  • 1-3 years experience in B2B sales
  • Service sales experience is best, but product sales are ok.
  • Involved in extracurricular activities; a busy person.
  • Career progression is a plus
  • Has been through a high volume sales training or outbound call environment.
SKILLS REQUIRED: 
  • Must make 45-60 calls per day (based on tenure) with 20 connects, 10 client meetings (via phone) per week, 4 job orders per week and 1-4 placements per month (depending on tenure)
